I am "Druin" and I'm excited about joining the wonderful world of photography. If you look at my other blogs, you'll find out that I'm a math teacher at a suburban high school. I've taught for 15 years and I love my job.
I've never done photography before and this past week was the first time I'd ever used an SLR camera. My hubby grew up around photography, as his dad is a professional photographer, and hubby has often dabbled in it as a hobby. Recently, he purchased a new DSLR and I made an offhand comment about wanting to try it someday. Little did I know that "someday" would be a few weeks later! We purchased a used DSLR for me and I'm hooked!
It's been a fascinating journey so far and I am happy to share my new hobby with you :)
